Our wonderful couple, Myhasyk and Lyubochka, have finally completed a huge journey of 1,800 kilometres today and are now living in the Tier-, Natur- und Jugendzentrum Weidefeld, which is managed by the Deutscher Tierschutzbund e.V. This is a wonderful rehabilitation centre, where our bear Malvina has been living since 2022.

Nine months of paperwork, titanic work and the nerves of a large team of specialists have provided our beloved bears with a new home. Now they have much more space for research and play. We will miss them very much, but we are sure that they are in good hands!

We thank all partners, colleagues and friends who helped us: the Deutscher Tierschutzbund e.V. for their offer to provide the best home for our bears; specialists from the Inna Vasylkovska Veterinary Clinic for veterinary support during the loading operation; employees of the Wild Animal Rescue Center for helping hands; forwarder Crossborder Animal Services for professional transportation; Italian animal protection organisation LAV and Ukrainian foundation PlayDuck Charity for financial support.
